Update Suggestion
Regularly check for updates manually (e.g., once a week) to ensure you don't miss important versions.

Automatically backup the current Boot.img file every time the kernel is patched.
Important
Disabling this option may leave you without a backup to rescue your device if it fails to boot, so do not disable it.
Recovery Method: If startup problems occur:
- Enter Fastboot mode
- Flash backup image via PC tool
Q: Where are backup files stored?
A: Backup location:
- External Storage: Application private directory
/storage/emulated/0/Download/FolkPatch/BootBackups/ - Requires special permission to access
- Recommended to back up to computer regularly to prevent device damage
Q: Why does log export fail?
A: Possible reasons:
- Storage permission not granted: Allow storage permission in settings
- Insufficient storage space: Clean up device storage
- File system error: Restart device and retry
- App permission restricted: Check background running permission
Q: How to verify successful installation after update?
A: Checklist:
- Version number updated (Settings → About)
- Kernel status normal
- Module functions normal
- No crashes or abnormalities

- Suitable for when the current version is stable and you don't want to be disturbed
Default Value: Off
Recommended Setting: Keep off during normal use
Tip
After hiding update prompts, you need to manually check GitHub for new versions. It is recommended to upgrade only after confirming the new version is stable.
Block System Patch (APD) Update
When enabled, system patch (APD) update prompts will no longer be displayed.
Function Description:
- Hide new version update notifications for system patches (APD) within the app
- Suitable for when the current system patch version is stable and you don't want to be disturbed
Default Value: Off

Note
Hiding update prompts may cause you to miss important security fixes. Only enable this when you are sure the current version is stable.
Tip
If you encounter incompatibility with a new KernelPatch or system patch version, it is recommended to downgrade to a known stable version first, then enable the corresponding block option. See FolkTool Guide for details.
